What Is Psychotherapy
A talk-based therapy used to assist individuals as they work through various challenges with the goal of improving well-being and mental health.
Psychotherapy can help with some of the following
Anxiety
Everyone will experience anxiety from time to time. It is completely normal and at times necessary to our survival. But when anxiety becomes persistent and begins to interfere with your life, it may be time to reach out for help.

Depression
Most people will experience feelings of sadness in their life. It is a normal feeling to experience when faced with losses or life challenges. But when these feelings are ongoing and more than just sadness, you may be experiencing depression.

Relationship Difficulties
Relationships are an important aspect of our lives. At times, we can find ourselves experiencing difficulties in these relationships due to a break down in communication, respect, and trust.

Trauma
Trauma can result from a single event or multiple events that are emotionally distressing or life threatening and have a significant impact on an individual's mental, physical, emotional, and/or spiritual wellbeing.

Addictions
Addictions are the repeated use of a substance or engagement in a behaviour that causes significant harm to one's life. Addictions can involve alcohol, drugs, gambling, sex, and more.

Stress
Stress is a normal feeling that can happen when a person is having difficulty coping with demands and life events. Learning strategies to manage stress can help prevent chronic stress from having a negative impact on your life.

Grief
Most will experience periods of grief in their lifetime. Grief can take many forms, including loss of a loved one, relationship breakdowns, job loss, and more. The pain of loss can be overwhelming and it is okay to reach out for support.
